Forest Hill Pools Stakeholder Group
...at Forest Hill School. I had to leave (shortly?) before the end for a parental commitment, but not before heading off Cllr Russell from trying to get us to explore an option that would have put 7-storey housing right at the bottom of the gardens of some of his Thorpewood Avenue constituents! The overall idea is starting to look feasible, though (not that I'm expressing an opinion about any particular design, or planning proposal).
Purpose of this blog
This should contain a short and factual 'diary' account of activities undertaken by all of the Perry Vale councillors - when they are 'acting as councillors' (i.e. not about family or work life etc, unless it has a bearing).
Titles should be the name of the event (e.g. "Children & Young People committee", "Mayor & Cabinet", "Advice surgery", etc). Obviously we shouldn't include information that identifies constituents, but mentioning other councillors or senior Council officers (i.e. those who make reports to public committee meetings) should be OK.
Photos of what councillors do can be included too, where possible.
